Ben Riga was up on stage with Kirill Tatatinov for the opening keynote for Convergence 2008 EMEA in Coppenhagen. Ben demonstrated a conference website, hosted in Windows Azure, using CRM as an XRM platform.
The demonstration was hosted in Windows Azure, using ADXSTUDIO CMS and CRM Developer Toolkit. The web used SQL Data Services for CMS content, and CRM for all the conference data. The website also used Live ID for user authentication. Ben demonstrated that you could design an internet-facing website that was tightly tied to CRM. The website also has a good splash of Silverlight to assist in the flight booking as well as in the attendee portal, which is a rich internet application experience.
