When you build XRM extensions for CRM, you want to configure the CRM site map so that users see your new application model appropriate for the audience and applicaton you are designing. XRM extensions are not typical sales-force-automation extensions, so the out-of-the-box sales/marketing/service breakdown is not always the best for your solution.
Girish published a series of three blog articles on how to customize the CRM site map using a tool that was designed for the CRM sales team. The tool is a very visual tool and is definately a lot easier to use than hand-editing an XML file.
